Monsanto Losing Millions as GMO Labeling Push Grows

The two GMO labeling propositions were defeated in both Oregon and Colorado recently. How does this happen considering the overwhelming support for GMO labeling? Why are these votes for labeling failing? Is it due to dirty tricks?
